Custom-made furniture is designed and manufactured specifically for your space, rather than using standard catalog measurements. At 3P Mobel, we’ve been doing this for over 45 years: every wardrobe, dressing room, bedroom set, or office piece is designed down to the centimeter to fit your walls, ceiling, and your actual storage needs.
We don’t sell stock furniture. We design with you, manufacture piece by piece in our Barcelona workshops, and our team installs it in your home or office. From start to finish, without intermediaries.

Many people ask us if custom-made furniture is worth it compared to prefabricated furniture. The short answer: in Barcelona apartments—with high ceilings, columns, beams, and irregular corners—it’s almost always the case. Here are the specific reasons:

Off-the-shelf furniture often leaves gaps: 4 cm here, 12 cm there, a space between the top shelf and the ceiling that only collects dust. It’s not just the exterior. The interior is designed to suit your needs: a long hanging area for coats and dresses, double-height rails for shorter garments, drawers with dividers, pull-out shoe racks, trays for accessories, and automatic LED lighting when opened. If you have 30 pairs of shoes, this wardrobe will accommodate them; if you need space for suitcases, it will too.
Finishes that match your home
We work with high-resistance melamine, lacquers (matte, satin, or gloss), natural wood veneers, glass, and mirrors. Doors can be hinged, sliding, or Japanese-style. The furniture can be visually integrated with the wall (same color) or be a statement piece (lacquered in a color).
The furniture we manufacture today is designed to last you 20 or 30 years, not 5. The hardware is high quality, the joints allow for disassembly and reassembly during a move, and the 3-year warranty is handled directly with our factory in Barcelona, without intermediaries.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the entire process cost if I ultimately decide not to order anything?
Nothing. The technical visit, design proposals, and quote are completely free and without obligation. You only pay when you accept the quote and authorize the start of manufacturing.
How long does the process take from beginning to end?
Between 5 and 9 weeks on average. The design and budgeting phase is usually completed in 1-2 weeks; manufacturing and installation take an additional 4-8 weeks depending on the type of furniture.
What if I want to make changes after the 3D design?
We’ll iterate with you as many times as you need before finalizing the quote. Once the quote is accepted and the order is sent to the factory, structural changes are not possible, but we can adjust minor details up to a certain point in the process.
And if you prefer, one of our interior designers will come to your home to see the space in person and create the design directly in your home.
When is payment due?
Typically, a 40% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote, with the remainder due upon delivery and installation. If you choose financing, we will adjust the installments according to the selected option.
Do you work with interior designers or architects?
Yes. If you already have an interior designer or architect managing your project, we manufacture based on their plans and specifications, integrating ourselves into their process. If not, our team also takes on that part.
What happens if I move in a few years?
Thanks to our manufacturing system and hardware, many of our furniture pieces can be disassembled and reassembled in another space. We assess each case individually: sometimes the piece fits directly in the new location, while other times it requires adjustments to a panel or other dimensions. This is a service we also offer to our long-standing customers.
